Glad you had a safe and enjoyable trip home mate (not that I'm jealous regarding the best car so far)

And that a good fuel return for a V8 of that size

I did, Bob. I reckon it's more responsive in auto mode and the manual mode is massively different. As has been said before, that makes the car feel quicker. The other differences seem to be styling. That's a subjective call but I do like the styling changes. Whether it adds up to a car that's worth twice as much as the pre facelift is also a subjective thing. The pre facelift is a great car and if your budget is £5 to £6k and you buy the right one, there's nothing to beat it. To me, it has been worth the extra cash but I wouldn't have been unhappy by any means running the silver one for another 5 years.

But that Lexus SC430 has something that the others don't have (IMHO)

That fantastic redness all over it ........ Gotta love that colour

We all like to cherry pick bits and pieces to mod but not the whole motor
When I'm finished (if I can find the caps) my whole car will be un moded ( I know there is no such word) but if I can't..... Then exhaust, wheels, suspension.... All will have to change
